I am a graduate from the re/start in Amazon Web Services(AWS) Cloud Support programme with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, who is ready to get into the IT industry with the opportunity in becoming a Software Engineer.

I have IT fundamental skills in Python, Linux Operating system, Databases, Networking and AWS which lead me to practice and gain hands on experience.

I have achieved my Cloud Practitioner Certification, and I am working on other skills such as Infrastructure automation with Terraform, Bash scripting and building an alien game using Pygame.

I have also taken part in online seminars to enhance my knowledge in Technology like AWS Summit, Spotlight on Google and Oracle.

I possess a strong work ethic and I am a keen team player with an approachable personality and strong interpersonal skills. I take responsibility for tasks and is adaptable to working environments. I am a strong problem-solver and resilient to challenges.

Python

Python has been one of the programming languages I have used for automation and for creating an Alien Invasion game using the Pygame libraries.

Amazon Web Services

AWS has been the core skill that I have developed. I have used this skill to deploy, monitor and support different aws services such as hosting a static website like this.

MySQL

I have been able to do database management and how important it is to backup data. Also, I have learn how to store and retrieve data.

Networking

Networking is the skill for learning about IP addresses and TCP/IP. I am able to under the basic concept of networking, the types and what they are used for.

Linux

This was a new topic for me. Learning Linux Operating System is a huge advantage as I was able to learn about the command line and there keywords. Also connecting this with AWS I was able to SSH into the server and use Linux Bash Scripting for automation.

Through University, I have studied the concept of Software Developement and used the Software Developement life-cycle to complete projects.

A game I modified using the Python Crash course book With the help of the Python Crash Handbook, I was able to create an alien invasion game using pygame. I modified the code by refactoring and being able to save the highscore.
